Creating a Fairer Future for All - Ideas Gathering Event

The Young Scot Fairer Future Panel is an incredibly passionate group of 16 young people aged 14-21 who are examining race equality in Scotland.

Facilitated through Young Scot’s Co-design process, the panel are exploring (amongst other topics) the six core themes of Scotland’s Race Equality Framework (see below) and how it relates to young people. The group will present their recommendations and vision for race equality in Scotland by 2030 to the Scottish Government in late summer 2017.

Young Scot is looking for young people to be part of this process and are inviting them to the Dovecot in Edinburgh on 29 June from 12pm to 4.30pm, to collaborate with the panel, young people, organisations and decision makers from across Scotland.

Working together, through interactive activities, this event will explore the Race Equality Framework, share stories and collectively create actions for change.
