Volunteer required to take ownership of Sooty collecting boxes placed in retail outlets in their home area. Collectors will monitor, empty and bank the contents of the boxes allocated to them. Should be able to work unsupervised, have an interest in people and be honest and trustworthy.

Working will full support from an RNIB area manager and after full training you will represent RNIB at speaking engagements to various audiences. The purpose of this role is to increase the profile of RNIB within local communities. Must enjoy speaking in public, be an excellent communicator, have confidence and be enthusiastic about the subject.

Many parents feel overwhelmed by the stresses and strains of everyday family life. They may have no close family members or friends who can lend a helping hand when it is most needed. Volunteers are needed who can be that crucial helping hand.

Assisting, guiding and assessing young people who are working towards gaining an award. Must be helpful, organised, patient and enthusiastic. Few hours monthly required.

St Colm's - Social Activities Assistant

Volunteering with people who may have a wide range of disabilities. Undertaking a wide range of activities and generally putting fun into people’s lives. Must be patient, empathetic and have a good sense of humour. Activities can be anything from going swimming, playing badminton, cooking, going out for walks, going to the cinema, craft activities, looking at books or playing board games.
