Action Medical Research is on a mission to save and change children's lives through medical research, developing treatments, vaccinations and cures. The charity was founded in 1952 in a quest to find a cure for polio and since then it has been saving and changing lives through medical research raising over �117 million on projects throughout Britain. It relies on donations and fundraising by committees all over Great Britain.
