Advocacy Orkney is Orkney's only independent advocacy agency whose remit is to speak up for people when for whatever the reason, they feel they cannot do this for themselves. The service takes a Human Rights based approach to supporting clients and this includes safeguarding rights and ensuring their voice and views are heard in decisions being made about them. The service prioritises support in the areas of Mental Health, Learning Disability and Looked After Children but also provides a generic adult service.
