The early years team are able to offer family support to families with a child under eight. The team includes two Homelink Workers and an Early Years Practitioner with a family support role. The team are able to provide a range of parenting advice and support, sleep counselling, and can also help parents access other support.
The team work closely with nurseries, schools, education, social work and health services, voluntary sector organisations, such as Homestart, and community learning and development workers. Requests for the service can be from schools, nurseries, health visitors or parents themselves.
