North Walls is a well-resourced school located on the island of Hoy. As a Community School, the school and nursery benefits from the on-site swimming pool. All classrooms, including nursery, have a Smart Board and all pupils have access to laptops and audio/visual recording equipment. The school has excellent outdoor spaces including a football pitch, tennis court, adventure playground, school garden and a nature trail.
