OFA are a membership organisation open to any commercial fisherman in Orkney to join. OFA seek to promote and protect the Orkney fishery and are an active player in relation to all aspects of management and legislation that affect the local fishermen. OFA carry out industry driven research relating to commercial stocks and also facilitate Orkney Marine Oil co Ltd which provides 24hour marine diesel to commercial vessels.
