Orkney Music and Culture work with the communities of the Orkney Islands and associated areas to provide opportunities to participate in the playing of, learning about and listening to traditional music. We aim to conserve local music traditions, songs and folklore and to support future generations to continue these traditions. To do this the charity provides the resources and facilities for accessible workshops, small group activities, concerts and festivals and sends musicians, tutors and storytellers both within Mainland Orkney and to the isles.
