Armed Forces’ and Veterans Breakfast Clubs are groups of veterans and serving members of HM’s Armed Forces up and down the UK who meet regularly to eat breakfast together, indulge in some healthy banter and get and give support as needed. The Orkney Veterans’ Breakfast Club is neither a charity nor a business; there are no rules, no constitutions, no formal membership or structure of any sort; all you need to do is to turn up and pay for your own breakfast. The OVBC is open to serving personnel, veterans and their partners. We currently have members from all three branches, but we know there are loads of veterans out there that could add to the club and support the other members, so please do come along and try us out. We meet on the last Saturday of the month, at Eats ‘n’ Treats on Victoria Street, Kirkwall, from 0900-1100. Contact sibrodie01@gmail.com for further information.
