Childline is a private and confidential service for children and young people up to the age of nineteen. You can contact a ChildLine counsellor about anything - no problem is too big or too small.

Social Workers help children and their families who are in need or at risk, working closely with teachers, health professionals, police and other agencies to make sure that children are safe and well.

Our Children's Service provides a trained care attendant to take children with additional needs out to an activity of their choice.

The early years team are able to offer family support to families with a child under eight. The team includes two Homelink Workers and an Early Years Practitioner with a family support role.

MS Society, Orkney Branch is part of the national MS Society, which has branches all over the UK. It is run by a small committee of volunteers.

Orkney Blide Trust provides support to people aged 16 years or over who have or have had mental health problems.

Orkney Heart Support Group meet on the 4th Tuesday of every month except July at The Royal British Legion Kirkwall at 7.30 pm to approximately 9.30pm.

Orkney Street Pastors provide assistance to revellers in need due to excessive consumption of alcohol.

Relationships Scotland Orkney (RSO) is a voluntary organisation affiliated to the national body Relationships Scotland.

The Young People's Befriending Project was established in 2007 and has been serving the local community in Orkney since.

SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity is a trusted source of support for serving personnel, veterans and their families in their time of need.
