Orkney Zerowaste, a registered local charity promoting waste awareness and recycling, seeks a new Chair to lead its Board of Trustees.
Orkney Zerowaste currently operates a Recycling Yard in Stromness, a Small Grants Scheme for community projects, a household item collection service and a Business Recycling service that transfers profits to charitable endeavours.
The Chair will strategically guide the charity, ensure its sustainability, and represent Orkney Zerowaste publicly.
Responsibilities include building Board capacity, leading monthly meetings, communicating externally, and liaising with the Administrator and volunteers.
