This training package enables trainers in the community to deliver cooking skills and nutritional support. Participants should have the ability to cook and confident to lead small community groups.
There are 3 elements to the course. Participants are required to attend all 3 days.
Day 1 REHIS Accredited Elementary Food Hygiene Course:

Day 2 REHIS Accredited Elementary Food and Health Course
• 9.30am – 3.30pm
• Thursday 13 March 2025

Day 33 KGS Home Economics
• 9.30am – 3.30pm
• Friday 14 March 2025 in the
• Kirkwall Grammar School
There is a clear expectation that those attending will commit to deliver classes within a reasonable timescale and collect information on the number of courses delivered, participants and 1-to-1’s.
Places are fully funded by the CLD Partnership Spaces however, people who have booked a space and do not attend without giving 24 hours notice may be charged accordingly.
