Social Prescribing Day is an annual celebration, recognising link workers and the community groups and organisations that support people’s health and wellbeing.

Many things that affect our health cannot be treated by doctors or medicine alone, like loneliness, isolation or stress due to problems with debt or housing. Social prescribing connects people to non-medical support to address these issues and other unmet needs.

Join the Community Link Practitioner Service, Species on the Edge and the Improving the Cancer Journey team from 10:00 am to 4:00pm at The Balfour on Wednesday 19 March. Together they will be highlighting the benefits of social prescribing and sharing information about what they do.
