Spring into Step!
Join Species on the Edge as they connect with nature on this gentle lunchtime walk around Orcadia Park as part of NHS Orkney Social Prescribing Day.
No need to book, just turn up on the day dressed for all weathers! The group will meet inside the Balfour Hospital foyer at the Species on the Edge stand.
They will be using tarmac paths, accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs and will walk at a slow pace for all abilities. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. Arcadia Park is on a bus route and there is limited parking at the hospital. The walk is not suitable for dogs, except assistance dogs.
The walk is linked to the Orkney RSPB Scotland Nature Prescription calendar available for free from your local GP surgery to improve health and wellbeing by connecting to nature.
