Social Investment Scotland’s flagship support programme, Ambitions 2025: Supporting Leaders, Building Growth, supported by the Postcode Innovation Trust, is back to help organisations thrive in 2025.

The Ambitions programme offers a transformational leadership journey, bringing together a cohort of executive-level leaders from impact-led organisations. Participants receive tailored support to scale their operations and enhance their leadership skills through collaboration with expert contributors and each other.
Following the success of previous years, Social Investment Scotland’s specifically tailored leadership programme is now accepting applications for its 2025 cohorts (starting Thursday 8 and Friday 9 May respectively).

The 2 cohorts that make-up the Ambitions 2025 programme are Step Up(Fridays) and Scale Up (Thursdays).

After working closely with leaders and listening to their feedback, they created 2 distinct spaces - one for more established Scottish organisations, and another for those at an earlier stage of their journey, but with equally bold ambitions.

By taking part, ambitious leaders will gain the confidence, tools, knowledge, and support needed to grow their impact, through:

  • Weekly 90-minute online sessions
  • Peer-to-peer networking
  • 121 support for your organisation
  • Guidance from expert programme facilitators

The programme features a wide range of expert speakers who will deliver masterclasses on key topics such as finance, marketing, customer insights, storytelling, and impact. These sessions are complemented by core learning modules and group discussions, led by programme facilitators and SIS Associates: Rachael Arnold, Chloe Cannon, and Ellis Beardsmore.

Programme Goals:

  • Enhance Leadership Skills: Focus on business strategy and operational efficiency.
  • Peer-to-Peer Learning: Connect with like-minded leaders and share experiences.
  • 121 Support: Receive personalised guidance from expert facilitators.
  • Expert Sessions: Learn from industry experts on customer insights, storytelling, commercial conversations, and balancing workload and wellbeing.

Programme Details:

  • Duration: 16 weeks, starting Thursday 8 May (Scale Up) and Friday 9 May (Step Up).
  • Format: Weekly 90-minute online sessions.

Applications are open until midnight on Friday 25 April.
