Westray Heritage Trust educates the public in local heritage and other aspects of island life.
The Heritage Centre is located in the middle of Pierowall village. There are 2 large exhibition rooms and separate facilities for research. These are used to display artefacts and archives including photographs and documents of Westray and make them available for study.
Our high standards are nationally recognised, and we have been awarded Full Museum Accreditation and Four Star Visitor Attraction.
The Heritage Centre is open daily during May to September and is more limited or by arrangement at other times.
