Orkney Blide Trust provides support to people aged 16 years or over who have or have had mental health problems.

Orkney Library & Archive provides a wide range of services, many of them free of charge.

Orkney Marinas have marinas in Kirkwall, Stromness and Westray.

The OWMAS organises the West Mainland Ploughing Match, which is held on the second Saturday in February. They also organise the Dounby Show, which is held each year in August in the Showpark, Dounby.

The Orkney Youth Café is a drop-in service funded by Orkney Alcohol and Drugs Partnership.

The Papay Community Association organises a range of social events and services on Papa Westray primarily for residents, but also popular with our visitors.

The Papay Co-op is a community-owned organisation that provides and manages key services on Papa Westray, notably the community shop and the island hostel.

Papay Parish Kirk is a congregation of the Church of Scotland and serves the island parish of Papa Westray. We share a minister with our sister parish in Westray.

The REW DT mission is to improve the quality of life for the islands’ inhabitants of all ages, in ways that are both sustainable and environmentally sound.
